03/26/2025 12:19 PM | Sue Rae Irelan | The Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association is a 501c3 recreation provider, in partnership with the TCPUD for 25 years. Tahoe XC provides a full service nordic skiing center in the winter and year-round supported access to trails on TCPUD, California Tahoe Conservancy, California State Parks, and USDA Forest Service lands. TCCSEA's mission is to provide affordable access to outdoor education and year-round recreation, building enduring connections between community and nature. The non-profit model compliments TCPUD's public recreation responsibilities by accessing private and grant opportunities not available to a local government. This model allows TCCSEA to support low and no cost youth programs and low and no cost programs for seniors. |
