- Llinear feet of shoreline acquired and placed in public ownership to improve access to Lake Tahoe. Public access provides recreational opportunities while sustaining Lake Tahoe's natural setting as an outstanding recreational destination. Acquisitions are focused in urban areas, where existing lakefront facilities are currently unable to accommodate visitor demand.
